Handang paaralan para sa handang pasukan!

No electricity. No tall buildings. Only with two teachers. But the school is always ready to help and guide school children.

Situated 15 kilometers away from the nearest barangay lies a learning environment where progress is seen. It is surrounded by verdant towering trees and growing plants.

Bangkawan Elementary School is an extension of Rizal Integrated School. It was officially opened by DepEd in 2014. It has one regular and one locally paid teacher. They go and stay there for a week, and their love for the school has been felt by the community.

In this new normal set-up due to the pandemic, the teachers ensure that no child is left behind. They accepted the challenge and became more dedicated in delivering learning to children. It also gave them the opportunity to make the school cleaner and more attractive under the new administration and management of Eugene E. Villagracia.

The teachers both in Rizal Integrated School and Bangkawan Elementary School became more goal-oriented about the tasks to be done. Through their WOW Classroom contest, they were all guided accordingly with the rubrics and criteria to make the best out of their humble school. With the cooperation of Homeroom PTA officers and other school stakeholders, the concept of transformation was realized.
