READ: In a simple yet meaningful ceremony, the official turnover of donations from Northern Davao Electric Cooperative or Nordeco (Ang Bagong Daneco) pushed through despite the rain shower on Tuesday afternoon, November 17, at the Department of Education (DepEd) Tagum Conference Hall.
Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Josephine L. Fadul received supplies of bookpaper and facemasks for the 29 elementary schools from Nordeco headed by Demetrio L. Jagunoz, the area manager 2, who personally turned over the donations.
Fadul considered this as a blessing when she said, “Indeed, when it rains, it pours.”
Meanwhile, Jagunoz said this was part of their corporate social responsibility and this was simply a gesture of giving back to DepEd and its teachers whom they considered as great partner.
The donation is part of the Oplan Balik Eskwela Program of Nordeco, a local electric cooperative operating in Davao del Norte and Davao de Oro.
Also present during the turnover were ASDS Melanie P. Estacio, SGOD Chief Josefina B. Palaca, and Anwar Maadel, Division Partnership Focal.
