This is the leadership principle of Regional Director (RD) Allan G. Farnazo who made sure he would know the status of DepEd Davao Region – its people and its work.
The principles from The Way of the Shepherd were inherent in him as he personally visited all the 11 schools division offices. He wanted to know the condition of his flock to lead effectively.
He made sure he will get to know his flock, one sheep at a time. He kept his eyes and ears open to discover the shape of his sheep. He is building trust by modelling authenticity, integrity, and compassion.
RD Farnazo also paid a courtesy call to the local leaders for his first three weeks.
His presence and wisdom have inspired those who personally met him in his first few weeks in the region. He was installed virtually as the RD of DepEd Davao Region exactly one month ago. He never left a day without meeting people, going to church, and sharing his thoughts.
Great leadership has become his lifestyle.
