The Division of Davao Occidental maximizes the use of DepEd vehicles to reach teachers and learners in the islands and highlands.
The personnel in that division led by Schools Division Superintendent Lorenzo Mendoza spent their weekend delivering milk for the school-based feeding program and modules to Sarangani Islands.
The Supply Section team headed by Molky Marjoni brought dozens of boxes as they traveled from Malita where the division office is located to Balangonan Port of Jose Abad Santos. From there, it will be delivered to schools within the Sarangani Islands.
Even on a weekend, the personnel took time to travel and bring with them the goods and materials.
The act is similar to Regional Director Allan G. Farnazo’s principle of leadership where he has spent most of his time in his first four weeks in DepEd Davao Region travelling to all corners to meet school heads and teachers. This is not just to establish rapport, but to personally witness the situations in schools and division offices. He also made sure to meet local leaders for future collaboration.
